Color choices
Macaw feathers can begin with emerald green, then blend turquoise and cobalt across the wings and crown. Use warm gold around the face and chest, with crimson accents on selected feather tips. Color the hooked beak in charcoal and pale gray, keeping the eye dark. Strong contrast around the facial markings will emphasize the layered plumage.
