Choose a quiet sleeping kitten, a curious cat watching a butterfly or an indoor scene filled with little details. The sleeping kitten leaves plenty of open space; the cat on books adds curtains, a plant and a rug; the teacup scene includes several objects to color one at a time.

Start with one of the six suggestions below, or browse every cat design in the gallery. Open a full preview to compare the lines, then download that picture’s free PDF. You can give any kitten the colors of a real pet or invent a completely new coat.

Things to make with your cats coloring pages

Give the same kitten two adventures

Choose the box and butterfly pictures. Use the same fur colors in both, then tell how your kitten moved from its hideout to the butterfly. Add the story on separate paper so the pictures remain easy to display.

Design a matching room

Color the cat’s book covers first, then repeat one cover color in the curtains and another in the rug. On spare paper, design a cushion or lamp that could belong in the same room.

Make a kitten greeting card

Use a finished kitten picture on the front of a folded sheet. Add a short message inside and a border based on the hearts, paw prints or stars you like. Check the print preview if you want a smaller picture for the card.
