The short version

There are no accounts on Crayonest, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to forget. We do not ask for your name, your email address or anything else about you.

Server logs

Our web server keeps ordinary access logs: the address requested, the time, the browser type and the network address the request came from. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people open most, so we know which themes to add next. When a page loads, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and sends Google the page address, the page you came from, your browser and device type, a location at roughly city level worked out from your network address, and a random identifier for your browser.

Google signals and ad personalization are turned off for this site, so these visits are not used to build advertising profiles. Google handles the data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection, a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, measures how fast pages load with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

Advertising

This site does not currently show advertisements and sets no advertising cookies.

Cookies

The only cookies are the Google Analytics cookies described above; Crayonest sets none of its own. The search box runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to our server.

Children

The pages here are meant for children. Nothing on the site asks for a name, an email address or any other personal detail, from children or anyone else. Google Analytics, described above, records visits from every visitor, children included, and is set up so those visits are not used for advertising.
