Make a three-stage strip

Draw three boxes for a caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly. Reuse one color in every box to connect the sequence.

Test wing symmetry

Fold a spare sheet in half, draw half a butterfly against the fold, cut or trace the outline, and add matching colors to both sides.

Create a flower landing card

Draw a large flower with a wide center. Add a small butterfly near one petal and borrow colors from either selected flower scene.
