The horse previews include a mare touching noses with her foal, a horse leaning over a cross-braced stable door, and two full-body action scenes. Flowers, fences and open backgrounds give each pose a different setting.

You can also focus on a patterned saddle or the heavy feathering around a Shire horse’s lower legs. Compare the paired pictures below before opening the full horse gallery.

Things to make with your horses coloring pages

Design a stable nameplate

Color the stable-door scene, then make a separate nameplate with a horseshoe border and a name for the horse. Match one border color to the door.

Map the jump

On spare paper, draw three small frames showing the jumping horse before, above and after the fence. Reuse the same coat and fence colors in every frame.

Create a saddle pattern strip

Copy one heart or flower from the decorated saddle into a long strip on spare paper. Repeat it with two alternating colors and place the strip beside the finished page.

Each picture is an individual vector PDF. Print on US Letter, or choose β€œFit to page” for A4. Try one copy first to check the margins.
