Things to make with your autumn coloring pages

Build a five-color fall palette

Choose five colors on spare paper. Use them across the acorn, apple basket and scattered leaves, changing the order of the colors in each picture. Compare how the same palette feels on a character, fruit and foliage.

Tell what happens next

Pick the bear or the jumping child. Describe the sounds in the scene, choose what happens after the moment in the picture, and write two or three sentences on separate paper.

Design a woodland welcome sign

Use the badger’s round door or the cottage wreath as a starting point. On spare paper, draw a small welcome sign with an acorn, apple or leaf border, then color it to match the finished picture.

Each picture is an individual vector PDF. Print on US Letter, or choose β€œFit to page” for A4. Try one copy first to check the margins.
