Using the pages
Are Crayonest coloring pages free?
Yes. Every page on Crayonest is free to download and print. There is no account to create, no sign-up form and no payment step: open a picture, then use Download PDF or Print.
How do I download a coloring page?
Open a picture to see its full preview. The Download PDF button saves the printable file, and the Print button sends that same PDF to your printer, so both give you the same sheet.
How do I find pages on a particular theme?
Use the category menu to open a collection, where every design is shown as a preview, or type a subject into the search box. Search runs in your browser and sends nothing to our server.
Printing
What paper size are the PDFs?
The PDFs are laid out for US Letter paper. On A4, select "Fit to page" in the print dialog and check the print preview so the border stays inside the margins.
Why print the PDF rather than the picture on the page?
The picture on the page is a preview for choosing a design. The PDF is a vector file with the full frame, so the lines stay sharp when it is resized. Final quality still depends on your printer, paper and print settings.
What paper should I use?
Ordinary printer paper works for crayons and coloured pencils. For markers or paint, a heavier paper or card stock keeps colour from soaking through. Print one test copy before making a larger set.
Sharing and use rights
Can teachers print class sets?
Yes. Printing class sets for a school, library, clinic, care home or community group is welcome, as is printing for yourself and your household.
Can I sell the pages or post the files on my own website?
No. The files may not be sold, licensed or included in a paid bundle, and they may not be republished on another website, app or file-sharing service. Sharing a link to a page is welcome anywhere.
Can I share a photo of a page I have coloured?
Yes. Posting a photo of a page you have coloured, including on social media, is fine. Please keep the Crayonest mark on the page.
About the pictures and Crayonest
How are the pictures made?
Crayonest combines artwork generated with AI tools and patterns created with drawing code. The artwork is converted into vector outlines for the downloadable PDFs, and each page has a preview so you can check a design before printing.
Why do some subjects have several designs?
Some subjects come in more than one version, each with a different scene around the main subject. Each page title names what is different, and the Compare other designs row on a page links to its other versions.
Can I request a theme or report a problem?
Yes. Requests for new themes, pages that will not download or print correctly, and pictures that do not match their description are all welcome through the contact page. Include the page link.
Does Crayonest collect personal information?
There are no accounts, and the site never asks for your name or email. Google Analytics counts visits and sets cookies, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off; the Privacy Policy has the details.
