Things to make with your color by number coloring pages
Read the whole key first
Point to each number in the key, find one matching region in the picture and place the listed crayon or pencil beside the page. Repeat until every key number has a color ready.
Plan a palette before coloring
Make a small mark with each key color on spare paper. Compare the colors side by side, then decide whether to begin with the lightest color, the largest regions or one section of the picture.
Check for missed regions
When the picture looks complete, scan it once for each number in the key. Circle any uncolored region lightly with a finger, fill it, and check that its number matches the color you used.
