Color choices
Capybara fur can begin with warm tan or chestnut across the broad body. Use a lighter cream for the muzzle, paws, and inner ears, with deeper brown around the nose for contrast. Color the grass in fresh greens, then combine yellow, orange, purple, or blue across the butterfly wings and tiny antenna tips.
Butterfly Wing Pattern
Fill the butterfly’s wing sections with repeating dots, stripes, or curved bands, using contrasting colors to separate each shape.
Before you print
Capybara Napping in the Grass Coloring Page has about 9 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.
Print the PDF on US Letter paper, or pick “Fit to page” for A4. Try one copy first to check the line weight and margins before printing more.
