Color choices
Fossil dig site colors can begin with sandy tan soil and warm gray rocks around the exposed skeleton. Use ivory or pale beige for the skull, ribs, spine, and limb bones. Combine khaki tents with brown crates and silver tools, then color the workers’ hats and clothing in earthy greens, blues, or oranges. Dark wheelbarrow and shovel accents can provide contrast.
