Color choices

Zentangle spider can combine teal, violet, and gold across the body. Color the large abdomen first, using alternating shades for the swirls, petals, and dotted bands. Continue those hues along the segmented legs, then give the head and fangs a darker tone. Bright accents around the eyes will create contrast against the surrounding motifs.

Repeating Pattern Palette

Choose a small palette and repeat it across matching swirls, petals, and bands. Switch the color order on the abdomen and legs for varied pattern effects.

Printing tips

Zentangle Spider Coloring Page has about 952 separate areas to color, so it is a detailed page. Sharpened colored pencils or fine-tip markers reach the small spaces, and it is easy to color one section at a time.

Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
