Color choices
Pan de Muerto can begin with warm golden brown on the rounded loaf and pale cream on the raised dough bands. Use cocoa brown for the hot chocolate, deep red or turquoise on the mug band, and a contrasting shade for the leaf motifs. Finish the flower petals in orange or magenta, with green leaves and a softly shaded plate.
