Color choices
Headstones can begin with pale gray shading, leaving bright highlights along the curved tops. Color the broad grass and sky first with soft green and light blue, then use deeper green for grass tufts, shrubs, and tree canopies. Try red and blue on the star-and-stripe flags, with brown or charcoal poles. Darker tree trunks create contrast behind the lighter graves.
