Color choices
Autumn leaves fill the design with broad maple shapes, lobed oak forms, fan-shaped ginkgo leaves, serrated foliage, stems, and fine veins. Color the largest maple and oak areas first with rust, amber, and golden yellow. Use burgundy or deep green on smaller leaves, then give the ginkgo fans a lighter shade. Dark stems and vein lines can provide crisp contrast.

Choose a repeating palette for each leaf type, then use a contrasting shade on the stems or central veins to create a coordinated pattern.
