Color choices
Trapdoor spider colors can begin with brown or charcoal across the body and legs, followed by amber around the eyes. Use tan for the hinged lid and warm ochre for the soil. Color the grass green and the stones gray, then use darker shading inside the burrow for contrast. Small soil marks can carry rust or gold accents.
Burrow Texture Patterns
Fill the burrow walls with alternating dots, dashes, and curved bands. Repeat selected patterns on the lid and stones to connect the underground and surface areas.
