Color choices
Tarantula fur can use warm brown across the rounded body and shaggy legs, leaving the eyes dark for contrast. Shade the large rock with sandy tan and muted rust, then use olive and sage on the tall cacti and low desert plants. Finish the pebbles in soft gray, with pale yellow around the ground details to separate them from darker foliage.

Color the rock, cacti, and plants with distinct repeating bands, spots, or zigzags. Keep the tarantula’s shaggy sections in a separate texture scheme.
