Color choices
Zentangle axolotl details can begin with a soft coral or lavender body, leaving the eyes dark for crisp contrast. Color the feathery gills in rose, magenta, and plum, then use teal or turquoise along the curling tail. Finish the swirls, dots, leaflike shapes, toes, and fin bands with alternating gold, green, and blue accents.
