Rainforest Animals Coloring Pages

24 free PDFs

These rainforest pages travel from the treetops to the forest floor. A three-toed sloth hangs from a vine with its baby, a jaguar rests along a thick branch, a harpy eagle watches from above the canopy, scarlet macaws fly toward a clay cliff, and capuchin monkeys crack nuts with stones. Down below, a tapir walks a riverbank with its striped baby, a giant anteater reaches into a termite mound and leafcutter ants carry leaves across the roots.

There are tiny frogs too, from poison dart frogs on wet leaves to a red-eyed tree frog and a glass frog seen through its see-through belly, plus African forest animals like a gorilla family and an okapi. For detail lovers there are a rope canopy walkway, a rainforest waterfall, a view of the rainforest layers and a zentangle toucan. Start with the six picks below or browse every rainforest page, then download the free PDF.

Things to make with your rainforest animals coloring pages

Color bright warning colors

Poison dart frogs wear bright colors to warn other animals away. Color them in strong yellows, blues and reds against deep green leaves so they stand out.

Place animals in their layer

Color the rainforest layers page, then cut out small drawings or write the names of the other animals from this collection and place each one in the layer where it lives.

Make a jungle mural

Color several animal pages, trim them and tape them together on a wall with paper vines and leaves between them to make a rainforest mural.

Each picture is an individual vector PDF. Print on US Letter, or choose β€œFit to page” for A4. Try one copy first to check the margins.
