Color choices
A dolphin swims alongside its smaller calf, both caught in beams of light streaming down through the water. Give the larger dolphin a cool gray-blue and pick a lighter shade for the calf so they are easy to tell apart. The light rays above could stay a pale yellow, while the scattered bubbles work nicely left white or tinted the faintest blue. Save a deeper blue for the open water surrounding them.
Compare dolphin bodies
Color the larger dolphin’s body first, then use a slightly different shade for the smaller calf’s form.
