Color choices
This elephant splashes through shallow water with rolling hills rising behind it. Give the elephant a soft gray body, and let the water take on a light blue with small ripples around its trunk and legs. Color the distant hills in layered, cooler greens to suggest depth, and keep the bushes nearby a richer green. Add a touch of gray to the scattered rocks.
Compare water and elephant legs
Color the water first, then use a darker palette for the elephant’s legs and trunk.
