Color choices
Beneath a wide, leafy tree, these two fox cubs tumble and play in the grass, a good spot to try two different orange-red tones so each cub reads separately. Try a rich brown for the tree’s thick trunk, and layer a few greens for the leafy canopy above. Fill the grass around them with a fresh green.
Compare tree bark and grass
Color the tree bark first using vertical strokes, then apply a different shade to the grass blades around the cubs.
Printing tips
With about 61 areas to color, Two Fox Cubs Playing in the Grass Under a Large Tree Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
