Color choices
Cricket perches on a grass blade among daisies, tulips, and a fluttering butterfly. Choose a soft color for the cricket’s body and contrast it with the bright petals of the daisies nearby. Try warm reds or pinks for the tulip blooms scattered through the grass. Pick a contrasting wing color for the butterfly hovering overhead.
Compare grass and flower shapes
Color the grass blades first, then use a different palette for the flowers and butterflies.
