Color choices

Simple sloth can begin with warm brown or soft gray across the body and long arms. Use cream or tan for the face patches, with dark brown on the claws, nose, and eyes. Color the branch in earthy brown, then use fresh green on the leaves so they contrast with the fur.

Sloth Fur Pattern

Fill the shaggy body sections with alternating light and dark shades. Repeat the chosen pattern along the long arms and around the rounded body.

Printing tips

Simple Sloth Coloring Page has about 26 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.

The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.

This picture is also in the Rainforest Animals Coloring Pack, one PDF with 12 pictures and a cover page for printing a set in one go.
