Color choices

Simple shark can begin with a slate blue body, using a lighter blue across the belly and snout. Color the dorsal fin, side fins, and forked tail in matching blue, then use deeper navy along their edges for contrast. Give the eye a black pupil with a pale blue iris, keep the mouth details bright, and shade the gill lines in gray.

Fin Pattern Plan

Fill the fins with stripes, dots, or waves while keeping the body in broad blocks of color. Repeat a chosen pattern on the forked tail for a coordinated design.

Printing tips

Simple Shark Coloring Page has about 11 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.

Print the PDF on US Letter paper, or pick “Fit to page” for A4. Try one copy first to check the line weight and margins before printing more.
