Color choices
These turtles rest near a stone arch with hatchlings gathered close by, shells and a starfish scattered on the sand. Try a warm green for the larger turtles and a paler tone for the hatchlings nearby. Color the rock arch in sandy gray-brown, letting the opening reveal a strip of blue water beyond. Add soft pink to the shells and orange to the starfish.
Color the shells and seaweed
Color the turtles’ shells first, then use a different palette for the seaweed and rocks around them.
Before you print
With about 199 areas to color, Smiling Turtles and Hatchlings by a Rock Arch Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
