Color choices
This wolf lies curled up in a grassy field, its tail wrapped neatly around its body. Try a warm reddish brown for its thick fur, shading the tail a touch darker for depth. Color the grass a fresh green, and add deep green to the pine trees dotting the hills behind it.
Compare fur and tail
Color the wolf’s fur first, then use a darker shade for the curled tail and the grass around it.
Before you print
Wolf Resting with Its Tail Curled in a Grassy Field Coloring Page has about 24 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
