Color choices
House beams can start with warm brown or tan, while the roof boards use a deeper shade for separation. Color the helmets and overalls in coordinated yellows, blues, or greens. Give the wheelbarrow, ladders, and cement mixer muted metal tones, then use bright accents on tool belts and handles. A contrasting ground shade will help the stacked lumber stand out.
