Color choices
This fairy shares a picnic with a hedgehog beside a mushroom-shaped cottage. Try a soft color for the fairy’s dress and a warm brown for the hedgehog’s spiky coat. Color the mushroom cottage’s cap in deep red with pale spots left bare, and give the little door and window a contrasting trim. Shade the picnic basket, cookies, and strawberries in warm, inviting tones.
Compare the texture of the hedgehog’s spines and the fairy’s dress
Color the fairy’s dress first, then use a contrasting palette for the hedgehog’s spines and the mushrooms.
