Color choices
Kraken tentacles can begin with deep violet fading toward lavender around the suction cups. Color the ship’s hull warm brown, the sails cream, and the flag crimson. Use teal and navy across the curling waves, with pale blue for splashes. A golden anchor and dark rigging create contrast against the wooden deck and light sails.
Suction Cup Pattern
Use a repeating color sequence across the suction cups, then echo the same sequence on the sails or porthole rims.
Before you print
The Kraken and a Sailing Ship Coloring Page has about 304 separate areas to color, so it is a detailed page. Sharpened colored pencils or fine-tip markers reach the small spaces, and it is easy to color one section at a time.
