Color choices
Ninja puppy can begin with warm brown fur and a deep navy headband, leg wraps, and outfit. Color the scroll parchment tan, then use muted red for its cord and the headband emblem to create contrast. Finish the bridge, stone lantern, stepping stones, stream, trees, shrubs, rocks, and grasses with natural greens, grays, blues, and earthy browns.
Scroll Mission Story
Decide what mission is written inside the rolled scroll, then tell a short story about the route past the lantern and bridge.
Before you print
Ninja Puppy Carrying a Scroll Coloring Page has about 153 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
