Color choices
This unicorn splashes through a puddle with a front hoof raised, a bright grin on its face. Color the rainbow overhead in bold bands, and add a warm yellow to the sun peeking between the rain clouds. The splashing water could take a cool blue, while the fence and flowers along the edge pick up earthy browns and soft petal colors. Give the mane and tail a pastel shade that echoes the rainbow above.
Compare puddle and unicorn
Color the puddles first, then use a warm pink for the unicorn’s mane and tail.
Before you print
Unicorn Splashing Through Puddles After Rainbow Shower Coloring Page has about 150 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
