Color choices
This giraffe looks up at fireworks bursting above the savanna. Try a warm tan for the giraffe’s coat and a contrasting brown for the spots covering its body. Color the fireworks and scattered stars in bright varied hues against the night sky. Shade the savanna trees and grass below in layered greens and golds.
Compare the giraffe’s spots and the fireworks
Color the giraffe’s spots first, then use a bright color for the fireworks in the sky.
Printing tips
Giraffe Watching Fireworks Above the Savanna Coloring Page has about 167 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
