Color choices
A squirrel gathers acorns beneath a towering oak tree. Color its fur a warm reddish brown, with a paler shade along the fluffy tail curling behind it. Try tan caps and deeper brown shells for the acorns filling the basket nearby, and repeat those tones on the acorns still hanging from the branches above. Scatter the fallen leaves around its paws in warm autumn colors to finish the scene.
Color the tree trunk and acorns
Color the tree trunk with a dark brown, then use a lighter brown for the hanging acorns and the basket contents.
