Color choices
A panda eats a stalk of bamboo beside a forest stream. Color the patches around its eyes and ears a deep black, and leave the thick fur elsewhere a bright white. Try fresh greens for the bamboo stalks and leaves scattered around it, and cool blues for the stream flowing past the rocks. Keep the smooth stones along the bank in soft grays to complete the scene.
Compare bamboo and stream rocks
Color the bamboo leaves first, then use a contrasting palette for the rocks along the stream.
Printing tips
Panda Eating Bamboo by a Stream Coloring Page has about 180 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
