Color choices
Lighthouse: begin with the broad diagonal bands, alternating white with red, navy, or golden yellow. Use a darker shade for the door and window openings, then choose a lighter tone for the lantern room and roof. Color the rocks in warm gray or sandy brown, and finish the curling waves with blue and turquoise, using deep blue along the edges for contrast.

Choose a repeating color pattern for the diagonal tower bands. Carry related shades into the lantern room, rocks, and curling waves to connect the scene.
