Color choices
This basket holds several apples on top of a checkered picnic blanket, with small flowers blooming nearby. Try a warm red or green for the apples and a lighter shade for the small stem and leaf on each one. Color the woven basket in warm browns, and use a slightly darker tone for the thick rope trim around its rim. Give the picnic blanket alternating squares of color and white to match its checkered pattern.
Color the basket and apples
Color the basket’s woven pattern first, then apply a different shade to the apples and flowers around the blanket.
