Color choices

This row of seashells lines a sandy beach with waves rolling in behind them. Try a soft pink or cream for the ridged scallop shell and a warm tan for the spiral conch beside it. Color each remaining shell a different pale shade so they stand apart from one another in the row. Use a light beige for the sand and a cool blue-gray for the waves and scattered rocks.

Match shell patterns

Color the spiral shell first, then use a different pattern for the fan-shaped shell next to it.

Printing tips

Row of Six Seashells Along a Sandy Beach Coloring Page has about 66 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.

The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
