Color choices
This elephant sprays a stream of water from its trunk beside a calm jungle pond. Try a soft gray for the elephant’s rounded body and a slightly darker shade for the creases along its trunk and ears. Color the water droplets a light blue so they stand out as they arc through the air. Use deep green for the broad palm leaves and the reeds growing near the water’s edge.
Compare trunk and pond
Color the elephant’s trunk first, then use a lighter shade for the pond water and the grass around it.
