Color choices
This crocodile lies along a muddy riverbank, its textured scales stretching from snout to tail. Try a deep green for the crocodile’s ridged back and a lighter shade for its underside and jaw. Color the river in soft blues, and use rich browns for the muddy bank beneath the crocodile. Fill the cattails and grass nearby with several shades of green.
Compare mud and reeds
Color the mud around the crocodile first, then use a soft palette for the reeds and water.
