Color choices
This ornate elephant splashes in a pool beneath a tall jungle waterfall, water droplets flying from its raised trunk. Color the elephant’s skin a soft gray and pick a bright shade for the jeweled pattern across its forehead and back. Try a cool blue for the cascading waterfall and pool below, with rich green for the broad leaves framing the scene. Leave the scattered rocks near the water a plain gray.
Compare patterns on the elephant’s ears and trunk
Color the elephant’s ears first, then use a contrasting palette for the intricate patterns on the trunk and the surrounding leaves.
