Color choices
This mandala builds from a small rosette center out through several rings of pointed petal shapes stacked one inside another. Color the central rosette first in a bright tone, then alternate shades ring by ring so each row of petals reads as its own layer. The thick outer band lined with tiny triangles is a good place for a steady, repeating color that closes the whole design.
Printing tips
Petal Ring Mandala has about 144 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
