Color choices
This fox cub stands on its hind legs reaching a paw up toward the falling rain, bushy tail curled beside it. Give the pointed ears and face a warm base tone first, then let the fluffy tail take a slightly different shade from the rest of the body. The ferns and tall tree trunks framing the scene suit deep, varied greens, and the puddles gathering on the ground can pick up cool reflections.
Compare fur and ferns
Color the fox’s fur first, then use a darker green for the ferns and a lighter shade for the puddle.
Printing tips
Fox Cub Chasing Raindrops Through Ferny Woodland Coloring Page has about 99 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
