Color choices
This kitten curls up asleep on the porch floor, tucked beneath the shadow of a tall wooden chair. Give the curled body a soft base tone first, then use a slightly darker shade for the tail wrapped around it. The wooden chair suits a warm, weathered tone, while the potted flowers beside it and the sun overhead can take bright, varied colors.
Compare sunlight and shadow
Color the sun and the shadows on the deck first, then use a warm palette for the kitten and the chair.
