Color choices
This dog digs eagerly into the sand, ears flying and sand spraying up behind it. Try a warm golden brown for its fur and a bright pattern for the striped beach towel laid nearby. The scattered shells dotting the sand could take soft pastel tones, while the sun overhead and the rolling waves in the distance stay warm yellow and cool blue.
Compare towel and sand
Color the striped towel with alternating light and dark stripes, then use a lighter shade for the surrounding sand.
Printing tips
Dog Digging a Hole Beside a Beach Towel Coloring Page has about 62 separate areas to color, a medium level of detail. Crayons work for the larger shapes, and colored pencils or fine markers help in the smaller spaces.
Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
