Color choices
A turtle rests on a log beside a marshy pond, with cattails and reeds rising behind it. Try a warm olive green for the shell’s rounded pattern and a lighter tan for the log underneath, letting the sun overhead stay a bright yellow with orange rays. Color the tall cattails in deep brown and green, then add soft pink to the lily pads floating near the reeds for contrast.
Compare turtle and reeds
Color the turtle first, then use a contrasting palette for the tall reeds and lily pads.
