Color choices
A lamb naps curled up beside buttercups on a grassy hillside. Try leaving the lamb’s woolly coat mostly white with soft gray shading in the curls, then color the buttercups a warm yellow against the green grass. Finish the rolling hills behind it in a lighter green, and add pale gray to the clouds drifting in the sky.
Compare flower and grass textures
Color the buttercups first, then use a darker green for the grass and trees around the hillside.
Before you print
With about 86 areas to color, Lamb Napping Beside Buttercups on a Hillside Coloring Page sits at a medium level of detail. Use crayons for the big shapes and switch to pencils for the narrow parts.
The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
