Color choices
A turtle basks on a rock beside blossoming branches at the edge of a pond. Try a warm olive green for its shell’s pattern and a lighter tan for the rock beneath it, then color the blossoms overhead in soft pink. Finish the cattails and lily pad nearby in deep green with a touch of pink for the lily bloom.
Compare flower and pond colors
Color the flowers first, then use a soft blue for the pond and a warm yellow for the turtle’s shell.
