Color choices

Rows of hexagons repeat across the page to form a honeycomb pattern. Color the hexagons in warm gold and amber tones, varying the shade slightly from cell to cell so the repeating pattern does not look flat. Keep the thin lines between each cell a darker tone to help the honeycomb shape stand out clearly.

Honeycomb Pattern has about 259 separate areas to color, so it is a detailed page. Sharpened colored pencils or fine-tip markers reach the small spaces, and it is easy to color one section at a time.

The PDF fills one US Letter page. On A4 paper, choose “Fit to page” so the frame stays inside the margins, and print one test copy before making a class set.
