Color choices

Traditional rose tattoo design can begin with crimson or burgundy across the broad outer petals. Blend coral or pink into the curled inner petals, leaving pale highlights near the folds. Use forest green and olive for the serrated leaves, then color the stem and rosebud with matching greens and reds. Deep shading along the petal seams can create contrast.

Petal Pattern Plan

Fill the layered petals with a repeating gradient from deep outer shades to lighter inner tones. Continue the pattern on the rosebud for a coordinated design.

Printing tips

Traditional Rose Tattoo Design Coloring Page has about 33 separate areas to color, most of them large and open, so it is an easy page. Crayons, chunky markers or paint sticks cover the big shapes quickly.

Download the PDF and print it on US Letter. For A4, select “Fit to page” in the print dialog; a single test print shows whether your printer keeps the thin outer frame.
