Color choices
An octopus peeks out from behind a cluster of large shells on a patterned ocean floor. Color its rounded head and curling tentacles in soft purple or blue, leaving small round suction cups a lighter tone. The shells beside it look good in warm cream with striped ridges picked out in a contrasting shade, and the wavy seaweed above can take a deep green. Fill the dotted, wavy ocean floor pattern beneath everything in cool blue tones.
Compare shell patterns and octopus features
Color the octopus first, then use a different palette for the shells and the wavy ocean floor.
